Isn't it funny how fast a rumour can spread? Especially if it is something juicy, or bad about someone. How sad is that? One person says something to another, usually exaggerating the truth to make it sound a little better, and they tell that person not to tell anyone. Then that person tells their best friend the juicy gossip and it just keeps spreading and spreading getting more and more untrue as the story gets told. Why do we not have anything better to do with our time than talk about others and gossip with our friends? And why do stories always turn into something that didn't even happen? And why don't people come to the person that the story is about to actually find out if there is any truth to it? Probably because it's more fun to just talk to others about it. Sad.
Just recently I learned a lesson in minding my own business and the importance in walking away. I think we should all do a little less gossiping and a little more of being positive and focusing on things that are actually important.
